Tripod BIG MT-818M lightweight portable design, model 425818
This small yet durable BIG MT-818M tripod is a lightweight, portable support for cameras and compact photo or video equipment. Made entirely of aluminum, it weighs 200 g and folds down to a transport size of 18 cm while offering a high load capacity and non-slip rubber feet. All three legs include 1/4" internal threads for mounting additional accessories such as LED lights or microphones. The tripod can also serve as a compact handle for handheld video recording or as an accessory base for gimbals and monopods.
The MT-818M combines low weight with robust aluminum construction and a compact folded length for easy transport. A 4-stage leg lock on the rotating base plate enables quick adjustment of the maximum height from 2.7 cm to 15 cm. Non-slip rubber feet increase stability on different surfaces, and built-in 1/4" internal threads on each leg allow attaching accessories without extra adapters. The tripod’s design also improves camera grip for steadier handheld video.
Unfold the tripod and set the rotating base plate to the desired leg stage to reach the required height between 2.7 cm and 15 cm. Attach your camera or accessory to the tripod head or use the 1/4" internal threads on a leg for small lights or microphones. For handheld video, hold the tripod as a compact handle with the camera mounted, keeping a firm grip to reduce shake. After use, collapse the legs to the shortest stage and store the tripod in your bag.
Use the 4-stage leg lock to select the most stable height for your surface and avoid extending beyond the intended load capacity of small camera bodies. Clean the rubber feet regularly to maintain grip on smooth surfaces.
