Biolan Charcoal 30L for Composting and Odor Control

Biolan Charcoal 30L is a natural, high-quality additive specifically formulated to enhance composting processes and manage odors effectively. This product is designed to be mixed with organic waste or used in dry toilets to maintain a clean and hygienic environment. By absorbing excess moisture and neutralizing unpleasant smells, it creates optimal conditions for the decomposition of organic matter, ensuring that your composting system operates efficiently throughout the year.

Advantages

The primary benefit of using Biolan Charcoal is its exceptional ability to regulate moisture levels within the compost mass, which prevents the material from becoming too wet or compacted. This improved aeration promotes the activity of beneficial microorganisms, leading to a faster and more thorough breakdown of waste. Furthermore, the charcoal acts as a natural odor neutralizer, making it an essential component for indoor or outdoor dry toilets and compost bins where smell management is a priority. Its natural composition ensures that it does not interfere with the final quality of the compost, allowing you to use the resulting humus safely in your garden.

Suitable for

• Dry toilets and composting toilets
• Garden compost bins and piles
• Neutralizing odors in organic waste containers
• Improving the structure of dense compost material

When it may not be suitable

This product is not intended for use in systems that require specific chemical additives or in environments where the waste is primarily non-organic. It may also be less effective if the compost pile is already excessively dry, as the charcoal is designed to manage moisture balance rather than add hydration.

Key specifications

• Volume: 30 Liters
• Material: Natural charcoal
• Function: Moisture absorption and odor neutralization
• Application: Composting and dry toilet maintenance

How to use

To use Biolan Charcoal, simply sprinkle a layer over the waste after each use in a dry toilet or mix it into your compost bin when adding new organic material. The amount used can be adjusted based on the moisture content of the waste; typically, a light covering is sufficient to absorb liquids and mask odors. For compost piles, mixing the charcoal into the top layer helps maintain an aerobic environment and prevents the development of foul smells.

What to consider before purchase

• Ensure the volume is sufficient for your specific composting setup
• Check that your waste management system is compatible with charcoal additives
• Store in a dry place to maintain the absorption properties of the product

Usage recommendations

For the best results, maintain a consistent ratio of charcoal to organic waste to ensure continuous odor control and optimal moisture balance in your composting system.
