Hot air gun Black & Decker KX2001-QS, 2000 W, 230 V, 50–600 °C, 300–500 L/min, 3 m cable
The Black & Decker KX2001-QS hot air gun delivers controlled heat and airflow for a wide range of workshop and home tasks. Equipped with a 2000 W motor, this tool produces a maximum airflow of 500 l/min and reaches working temperatures up to 600 °C. The pistol-handle design improves grip and control during extended use, while the AC-powered motor provides steady performance for paint removal, shrink wrapping, loosening adhesives, and other heat-related applications.
The tool combines high power and adjustable temperature capacity to handle demanding jobs without frequent interruptions. Its ergonomic pistol handle reduces user fatigue and provides stable control during precision tasks. A broad airflow output supports faster heating and efficient surface work. Compatible with common heat-shaping operations, the device is suitable for both occasional DIY use and professional repair tasks.
Before use, select an appropriate nozzle or attachment if available and set the temperature and airflow according to the task. Hold the hot air gun by the pistol handle and keep the nozzle at a safe distance from the work surface, moving steadily to avoid overheating or scorching. For paint stripping, work in overlapping passes and gently lift softened paint with a scraper. For shrink-wrapping or heat-shrink tubing, apply heat evenly while monitoring material response. After finishing, switch off the unit and allow the nozzle to cool before storing.
Use personal protective equipment such as heat-resistant gloves and eye protection. Work in a well-ventilated area and avoid directing hot air at flammable materials. Keep the unit away from children and allow the tool to cool fully before changing accessories or storing.
