Cable tie BLOW 41-251# black 2.9×300 mm, nylon self-locking strap
BLOW 41-251# black 2.9×300 mm is a nylon self-locking cable tie designed to bundle and secure cables, hoses and small pipes. The 2.9 mm width and 300 mm length provide a balance between tensile strength and flexibility, making the tie suitable for a variety of installation environments. Made from corrosion-resistant nylon material, the tie resists moisture and typical environmental exposure encountered in electrical, data and automotive applications. The self-locking head enables quick manual installation and reliable clamping without additional fixing elements.
The nylon construction offers durability and resistance to chemicals and moisture while remaining lightweight. The self-locking mechanism ensures a secure hold and prevents loosening under vibration. The 2.9×300 mm dimensions make this tie versatile for medium-sized cable bundles, and the black color provides UV resistance and discrete appearance in exposed installations. Installation by hand is possible for quick use, and the tie is compatible with standard tensioning tools for controlled clamping force and neat finishing.
Insert the tail of the cable tie through the head and route it around the bundle to be secured. Pull the tail through the locking head until the desired tension is reached. For repeatable clamping force and a neat finish, use a compatible tensioning and cutting tool to trim the excess tail flush with the head. When installing in environments with higher vibration or mechanical stress, ensure the bundle is supported and use additional ties spaced appropriately to distribute load.
Choose the 2.9×300 mm size for medium bundles; for very small or very large bundles select narrower/shorter or wider/longer ties respectively. Avoid exposing nylon ties to prolonged high temperatures above the material’s rated range and inspect ties periodically in harsh environments. For electrical installations, route ties so they do not compress cable insulation excessively and maintain proper bend radii for cable performance.
