Hex Key Screwdriver with Ball End Bondhus BO10668 — 6 mm
Bondhus BO10668 is a 6 mm hex key screwdriver with a ball end designed for turning hex fasteners when straight access is limited. The tool features a precisely formed 6 mm hex tip and a ball end geometry that allows the user to engage fasteners at an angle, simplifying work in confined or obstructed spaces. It is manufactured by Bondhus to meet typical workshop and industrial needs for reliable, repeatable torque transfer to hex socket fasteners.
The ball end provides up to approximately 25–30° off-axis engagement, enabling easier insertion and operation in tight or awkward positions compared with a standard straight hex key. The solid steel construction ensures durability and consistent tip geometry, while the precisely machined hex profile reduces rounding of fastener sockets. The tool’s compact length and simple shape make it easy to position and apply steady torque in assembly and maintenance tasks.
Insert the 6 mm ball end into the internal hex socket of the fastener. If direct inline access is not possible, engage the ball end at a slight angle to seat the hex profile inside the socket, then apply steady torque to turn the fastener. For maximum control and to avoid stripping, ensure the hex tip is fully seated before applying high torque and work with smooth, even force. Use the tool for loosening or tightening 6 mm internal hex fasteners within the tool’s designed torque limits.
Inspect the hex tip for wear before use; replace the tool if the tip shows rounding or damage. Avoid using the ball-end key as a pry bar or subjecting it to impact. For high-torque applications, use a straight hex key or a socket-style driver sized for 6 mm to reduce the risk of fastener damage.
