Hex Key (Allen) Bondhus 5/32 in T-handle with Ball End, model BO13109
Bondhus 5/32 in T-handle with Ball End (model BO13109) is a professional hex (Allen) key designed for driving 5/32" hex fasteners. The tool combines a shaped T-handle for enhanced leverage and control with a ball end tip that enables angled engagement, allowing access to fasteners in tight or offset positions. The compact length and robust construction make it suitable for assembly, maintenance and repair work in workshops and on-site environments.
The T-handle design provides improved torque and a comfortable grip compared with straight hex keys, reducing hand fatigue during repetitive operations. The ball end permits entry to fasteners at an angle up to approximately 25–30 degrees, which helps reach screws in confined or obstructed locations. Constructed to Bondhus quality standards, this hex key offers consistent fit in 5/32" hex sockets and reliable performance for professional and DIY tasks.
This T-handle hex key is intended specifically for 5/32" hex fasteners; it is not suitable for other hex sizes or non-hex drive types. For situations that require extremely high torque beyond hand tools (for example heavy industrial fasteners), powered tools or larger torque-rated equipment should be used instead.
Select the Bondhus 5/32 in T-handle and align the ball end or straight portion of the tip with the hex socket of the fastener. For maximum torque and secure engagement, insert the straight portion of the tip fully into the socket when possible; use the ball end when access is obstructed or when working at an angle. Hold the T-handle with one hand on each side of the crossbar to apply steady torque and avoid sudden, forceful twists that could damage the fastener head. After use, store the tool in a tool pouch or rack to protect the tip and maintain fit accuracy.
Use the straight tip for the most secure engagement and highest torque; reserve the ball end for hard-to-reach or offset fasteners. Regularly inspect the tip for wear and avoid using the tool on damaged fasteners to preserve fit and prevent rounding.
