Hex Key T-Handle with Ball End 4.0 mm – Bondhus BO13160
Bondhus Hex Key T-Handle with Ball End 4.0 mm is a hand tool designed for applying controlled torque to hex fasteners. The T-shaped handle provides leverage and comfort during repetitive fastening tasks, while the ball end of the 4.0 mm hex bit allows entry at an angle, improving access in confined or obstructed locations. The tool is intended for workshop, assembly and maintenance environments where reliable contact with hex sockets and accurate torque control are required.
The T-handle design delivers increased leverage compared with a standard L-key, reducing hand fatigue during sustained use. The ball end enables engagement of fasteners at multi-angle positions up to approximately 25–30 degrees, which facilitates work in tight or awkward spots without stripping the socket. The single-piece hex bit and solid handle construction ensure stable torque transfer and consistent alignment with the fastener.
Insert the 4.0 mm ball end into the hex socket and apply steady pressure while turning the T-handle to tighten or loosen the fastener. For fasteners that are difficult to reach directly, engage the ball end at the necessary angle and rotate using the T-handle; avoid excessive force if resistance increases to prevent rounding the fastener. Use the longer arms of the T-handle when additional leverage is required and the shorter arm for speed and clearance-sensitive operations.
Inspect fastener heads for wear before use and ensure the ball end is fully seated to maintain proper engagement. Use appropriate personal protective equipment where applicable and store the tool in a dry environment to prevent corrosion.
