T-handle ball-end Allen key set Bondhus BO13168 — 6.0 mm hex wrench
T-handle ball-end Allen key set Bondhus BO13168 — 6.0 mm hex wrench
Bondhus BO13168 — 6.0 mm T-handle ball-end Allen key is a single hex wrench designed for tightening and loosening hex socket fasteners. The tool combines a T-shaped handle for secure grip and improved torque with a ball-end tip that permits angled entry into socket heads. It is intended for workshop, maintenance, assembly and general fastening tasks where straight-line access is limited.
The T-handle design offers a two-handed grip option and better leverage compared with straight hex keys, reducing hand fatigue during repetitive operations. The ball-end geometry enables up to approximately 25–30 degrees of angular access, allowing engagement of fasteners that are offset or partially obstructed. Manufactured to precise hex dimensions, the wrench provides stable contact with socket heads to minimize rounding and slippage during use.
Insert the 6.0 mm hex tip into the hex socket of the fastener. For maximum torque, position the T-handle so you can apply force with both hands or use the long axis of the handle for leverage. When access is obstructed, engage the fastener using the ball-end at an angle within the tool's designed range to maintain contact while turning. Apply steady pressure and avoid sudden high-impact force to reduce the risk of rounding the socket. Withdraw the tool straight from the socket when finished.
Use the tool within its designed size and angle limits; do not use the T-handle as a pry bar or apply excessive impact loads. Inspect the hex tip for wear before use and replace if rounded. Store the wrench in a dry tool rack to prevent corrosion and keep the tip clean for reliable engagement.
