Orbital sander Bosch GEX 125-1 AE Professional
The Orbital sander Bosch GEX 125-1 AE Professional is a compact, lightweight sanding tool designed for precision surface preparation. Powered by a 250 W motor, this orbital sander offers a variable speed range from 7,500 to 12,000 RPM and an oscillation rate of 15,000 OPM to suit a variety of sanding tasks. The tool features Velcro media fixing for quick abrasive changes and comes in a red, blue and black finish. With a weight of 1.3 kg and compact dimensions (approx. 227 mm width and 150 mm height), it is intended for controlled handling in confined or detailed working areas.
The Bosch GEX 125-1 AE Professional combines a high-revving 250 W motor and a defined oscillation rate to deliver consistent sanding performance across different materials. Its Velcro fastener system enables fast abrasive replacement without additional tools. Lightweight construction at 1.3 kg reduces operator fatigue during extended use, while the compact body improves access to tight spaces. The variable speed control allows adjustment of rotational speed to match the workpiece and abrasive type.
Before use, fit the appropriate Velcro-backed abrasive disc for the material and desired finish. Set the machine to a low speed for delicate surfaces and increase towards the higher end of the range for more aggressive material removal. Hold the sander flat against the workpiece with light, even pressure and move it in continuous overlapping passes; avoid pressing the tool down, as weight of the tool is sufficient. Replace abrasive discs when worn and clean dust ports regularly to maintain performance. Observe safety precautions such as eye and respiratory protection and secure the workpiece prior to sanding.
Use finer-grit abrasives and lower speeds for finish sanding and coarse-grit abrasives with higher speeds for rapid material removal. For indoor work, connect to appropriate dust extraction or use a dust mask to reduce exposure to fine particles. Allow the motor to cool in prolonged tasks and store the tool in a dry place to preserve components and abrasives.
