Paint Spray Gun Bosch AdvancedSpray 18V-500 cordless, 18 V (tool only)
The Bosch AdvancedSpray 18V-500 cordless paint spray gun is an 18 V handheld sprayer supplied as a tool-only unit (battery and charger not included). Designed for applying paint and varnish to interior and exterior surfaces, it offers a compact, portable solution for DIY projects, refurbishment and small-to-medium painting tasks. The sprayer integrates with the POWER FOR ALL Alliance battery platform, enabling compatibility with a range of 18 V batteries from participating brands.
The AdvancedSpray 18V-500 provides even, fast coverage with adjustable spray patterns and flow control to adapt to different materials and surfaces. Its cordless design increases mobility and removes the need for extension cables, while lightweight construction reduces fatigue during prolonged use. The tool-only format allows users who already own compatible 18 V batteries to add a paint sprayer without purchasing a new power pack.
This cordless sprayer is intended for small to medium jobs and periodic DIY use; it may not be the most efficient choice for large commercial painting projects where high-capacity, continuous-operation systems are required. Because the product is supplied without a battery or charger, buyers who do not already own a compatible 18 V battery will need to purchase these separately before using the tool.
Attach a compatible 18 V battery before use and fill the paint reservoir according to the paint manufacturer’s instructions, avoiding overly thick mixtures. Adjust the spray pattern and flow control to match the material and surface area, testing on a scrap piece or cardboard to confirm coverage and atomisation. Hold the sprayer perpendicular to the surface and maintain a consistent distance while moving the unit steadily across the work area to achieve an even coat. Clean the nozzle and fluid passages after each use following the included cleaning guidelines and the paint manufacturer’s recommendations.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment, such as a mask, goggles and gloves, ensure adequate ventilation when spraying indoors, and perform a small test spray to set the optimal pattern and flow before working on the main surface.
