How to use

Before use, fit a compatible 18 V battery from the POWER FOR ALL system (sold separately) and check the battery level indicator. Secure the workpiece and ensure a clean, stable surface. Set the desired cutting depth using the depth gauge in 0.25 mm increments, then position the planer so the base plate rests fully on the material. Guide the tool along the workpiece at an even pace, allowing the single-blade system to remove thin shavings. For chamfering, adjust the plane angle and make controlled passes. Switch chip ejection side if working close to an obstruction to avoid clogging. After planing, remove debris and inspect the blade; use the manufacturer’s procedure for blade replacement to maintain cutting quality.

Usage recommendations

Use suitable personal protective equipment such as eye protection and hearing protection when operating the planer. For best results, keep the blade sharp and clean, work with consistent feed speed, and avoid removing the full 2 mm depth in a single pass on hard or knotty wood—make multiple lighter passes instead.
