The Bosch GBH 4-32 DFR Professional rotary and demolition hammer is a 900 W SDS-plus tool designed for a wide range of professional drilling and chiselling tasks. How to use

Fit the appropriate chuck or bit: use the SDS-plus system for masonry and chisels, or install the supplied quick-change chuck for conventional wood and metal bits. Select the required mode (drilling, hammer drilling or chiselling) and set the speed if applicable. For concrete holes in the 14–25 mm range or when using a core cutter, mark the drilling position, secure the workpiece if needed, and start drilling with steady pressure without forcing the tool. For chiselling, maintain a stable stance and use controlled, even strokes. Replace accessories only when the tool is switched off and unplugged or the battery is removed.

Usage recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves) and, when drilling concrete, consider dust extraction or a vacuum to reduce silica dust. For extended work periods, take regular breaks to minimise exposure to vibration despite the tool's Vibration Control system.
