Hole Saw Bosch 2 608 594 203
BiM Progressor Hole Saw from Bosch is a Bi-Metal hole saw with an 8% cobalt alloy and a 25 mm diameter (2.5 cm), designed for drilling clean holes in wood, drywall (plasterboard), plastics, aluminum, non‑ferrous metals and stainless steel. The tool fits corded and cordless drill drivers and is supplied as a single hole saw suitable for both professional and DIY use.
The hole saw provides up to twice the lifetime of the previous model thanks to Bosch Bi‑Metal with 8% cobalt, and the enhanced progressive tooth strip enables faster cutting and improved chip evacuation. Its multipurpose design allows reliable performance across a range of materials while maintaining precise, clean cuts.
Secure the hole saw to a compatible arbor and mount it on a corded or cordless drill driver. Mark the centre point of the hole, start drilling at low speed to establish the pilot position, then increase speed and apply steady pressure. Use appropriate feed rate and let the tool do the work to avoid overheating. For metals, use cutting lubricant where recommended and clear chips regularly to maintain cutting efficiency.
Use personal protective equipment (safety glasses and gloves) and select the correct drill speed and, for metal work, a suitable cutting fluid. Replace the hole saw if teeth are worn or damaged to ensure safe and precise drilling.
