How to use

Fit the hole saw to a compatible arbor or drill attachment and secure according to the drill manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the centre point of the required hole, position the pilot of the hole saw on the mark and start drilling at low speed to establish the cut. Increase speed gradually while applying steady axial pressure; allow the saw to cut without forcing. After the hole is complete, retract the tool and remove any remaining slug from the cutter. Use appropriate cutting fluid or cooling when cutting metals if recommended for your drill and material.

Usage recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves. For metal cutting, clamp the workpiece securely and use reduced speed and cutting lubricant to prolong tool life. Do not exceed the drill’s recommended speed for hole saws and avoid side loads that may damage the cutter or drill.
