Sanding Sheets Bosch C470 Best for Wood and Paint, pack of 10 (MPN 2608605254)
Bosch C470 Best for Wood and Paint sanding sheets are abrasive accessories intended for surface preparation and finishing on wood and painted surfaces. Supplied as a pack of 10 sheets, these abrasives are formulated for use with compatible random orbital and detail sanders and are suitable for smoothing, paint removal and surface levelling during woodworking and renovation tasks.
The C470 series offers a high material removal rate combined with consistent abrasive behaviour thanks to a semi-friable aluminium oxide grit on C-/B-paper backing. An electrostatic open-coated surface with spacing between grits promotes controlled dust extraction and reduces loading, while a calcium stearate coating further decreases clogging when working with paint and resinous woods. The hook-and-loop backing enables quick changes and secure attachment to compatible sanding pads.
Select a sanding sheet grit appropriate for the task and attach it to the sanding pad using the hook-and-loop backing. Operate a compatible random orbital or detail sander according to the sander manufacturer’s instructions, applying even pressure and moving the sander with the grain on wood where applicable. Use progressive grit steps for finishing: start with coarser grits for material removal and follow with finer grits for smoothing. Maintain secure fixture of the workpiece and ensure proper dust extraction when possible.
For best results when removing paint or varnish, begin with a coarser grit and reduce grit size gradually to avoid over-sanding. Use dust extraction together with the electrostatic open-coated sheets to minimise clogging and keep the abrasive cutting performance consistent. Store sheets flat in a dry environment to preserve backing integrity.
