Circular Saw Blades Bosch Optiline Wood 2608640727
Circular Saw Blades Bosch Optiline Wood 2608640727
The Bosch Optiline Wood Circular Saw Blades are designed for precision cutting of wood and wood-based materials. These blades combine precision-ground carbide teeth with a dimensionally stable SK5 hardened steel core to deliver accurate, repeatable cuts while minimising splintering. Expansion slots in the blade body reduce vibration, lower noise and limit heat build-up during extended cutting operations. Compatible with hand-held circular saws, mitre saws, sliding mitre saws and table saws, the Optiline Wood blades support a range of woodworking applications from fine trim to general ripping depending on the tooth count and ATB (Alternate Top Bevel) geometry.
The precision-ground carbide teeth offer durable cutting edges that maintain sharpness and produce clean, smooth cut surfaces. The hardened SK5 steel body provides dimensional stability to retain accuracy under load. Expansion slots reduce vibration and thermal stress, improving cut quality and prolonging blade life. Available in different tooth counts with ATB geometry, the blades can be matched to tasks requiring either finer surface finish or faster, more aggressive material removal.
Select a blade with the appropriate tooth count for the desired finish and the machine you will use. Ensure the saw is disconnected from power before fitting the blade and follow the saw manufacturer's instructions for correct mounting, blade orientation and securing the guard. Check blade runout and tighten the arbor nut to the specified torque. During cutting, use steady feed rates and appropriate fence or guide supports to maintain straight cuts and avoid binding. Allow the blade to cool between long cutting runs if you notice heat build-up.
Use higher tooth count Optiline Wood blades for fine cross-cuts and finish work, and lower tooth count variants for faster ripping and aggressive stock removal. Maintain carbide teeth by avoiding contact with nails and abrasive materials, and perform routine inspection and cleaning to extend cutting performance.
