Plunge cut blade Bosch PAII 65 APB
The Bosch Plunge cut blade PAII 65 APB is a bi-metal (BIM) Starlock Plus accessory for multi-tools, designed for wide, deep and precise plunge cuts in wood and non-hardened metals. Its Curved‑Tec rounded cutting edge enables smooth and accurate plunge cutting. The combination of high carbon steel (HCS) body and high‑speed steel (HSS) teeth provides improved wear and heat resistance for extended life when cutting non-hardened metals and abrasive materials. The Starlock Snap‑In mounting enables tool‑free blade removal and exchange in about 3 seconds, while the three‑dimensional tight‑fitting connection ensures efficient power transfer. This blade is compatible with Starlock Plus and Starlock Max power tools. The pack contains one blade, size approx. 64 mm × 50 mm.
The PAII 65 APB offers wide and deep cutting capacity with a rounded Curved‑Tec edge that improves plunge cut precision and finish. Its BIM construction combines a flexible HCS body with durable HSS teeth to resist wear and heat when working with non‑hardened metals and abrasive materials. The Starlock Plus system and three‑dimensional mounting deliver fast power transfer and stable operation. The Snap‑In feature enables quick, touch‑free blade changes in around 3 seconds.
Fit the PAII 65 APB blade to a compatible Starlock Plus or Starlock Max multi‑tool using the Starlock Snap‑In system until it locks. Operate the multi‑tool at the recommended speed for the material being cut and perform controlled plunge movements for accurate cuts. Allow the blade to cool between prolonged cuts in metal or abrasive materials and avoid excessive lateral force to preserve the blade life. Replace the blade by releasing the Snap‑In latch and removing the blade without touching the cutting edge.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety goggles, gloves and hearing protection). Select correct speed and feed for the material, secure the workpiece, and inspect the blade before use. For cutting harder or hardened metals, choose a blade designed specifically for hardened materials.
