The Bosch DINION IP STARLIGHT 7000 HD is a high-resolution IP security camera (1920 x 1080) designed for indoor and outdoor surveillance. It delivers clear images 24/7, including in very low-light conditions thanks to starlight sensitivity, and supports up to 60 frames per second. The camera offers high dynamic range, motorized focus, 90° rotation, hybrid analogue output and flexible power options (PoE and 12 VDC).
The camera provides exceptional low-light color performance and reduced noise through advanced sensor technology and Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction, lowering bandwidth and storage needs. High Dynamic Range and Content Based Imaging Technology improve detail in scenes with strong backlight or mixed lighting. Built-in Intelligent Video Analytics and regions-of-interest/E-PTZ support enable object detection, tracking and efficient monitoring workflows. Multiple streams, area-based encoding and bitrate-optimized profiles allow flexible integration with VMS and optimized network use. On-board security features include TPM/PKI support, HTTPS and 802.1x authentication.
Install the camera on a ceiling or wall and connect it to the network using a PoE-enabled Ethernet cable or a +12 VDC power supply. Use the web interface, Bosch Video Management System or the Bosch Video Security mobile app to configure image settings, auto-focus via the lens wizard and to set scene modes for day/night operation. Define regions of interest or enable E-PTZ for remote monitoring and use the built-in analytics to create alarm rules. Insert a memory card for local edge recording and configure cloud or FTP accounts for periodic JPEG posting if required.
For best low-light color performance and reliable analytics, choose an appropriate Bosch high-quality lens, calibrate the analytics by entering the camera height, and enable Intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction and area-based encoding to optimize image quality while minimizing bandwidth and storage.
