Group video conferencing system Bose Videobar VB1
The Bose Videobar VB1 is an all-in-one group video conferencing system designed for huddle spaces and medium-sized conference rooms. It combines a 4K Ultra HD camera, beam-steering microphones, and Bose proprietary transducers in a compact black enclosure to deliver clear video and natural audio. The system supports major unified communications platforms, connects via USB to a laptop and also offers Ethernet, Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth connectivity for flexible deployment and multimedia playback.
The VB1 provides focused voice pickup using six beam-steering microphones and automatic EQ to optimise audio for all participants. A 4K ultra-HD camera with autoframing keeps presenters and in-room objects clearly visible. The unit delivers room-filling sound from its built-in transducers and supports Bluetooth audio streaming or USB audio from a connected laptop. Its low-profile design reduces clutter with a single USB connection while offering multiple mounting options and network connectivity for remote management.
Place the Videobar VB1 on the included table stand, mount it on the wall using the supplied wall-mount kit, or install it with a VESA accessory (sold separately). Connect the unit to a host laptop via the single USB cable for video and audio, or integrate it into your network via Ethernet or Wi‑Fi for remote management. Pair a smartphone or other device over Bluetooth to use the VB1 as a speakerphone or to stream audio. Use the device with your preferred UC application to start or join meetings.
For best audio and video performance, position the Videobar VB1 centred on the meeting room display at ear level, ensure the room has minimal reflective surfaces for clearer sound, and keep the firmware updated via the Bose Work Management platform.
