Audio Optical Cable Brackton ODT Toslink 2.0m OEM TOS-SKB-0200.B
The Brackton ODT Toslink audio optical cable 2.0m is designed for reliable digital audio transmission between consumer audio-video devices. With a 2.0-metre length and Toslink connectors at each end, this cable transmits PCM, Dolby Digital and other digital audio signals using an optical fiber core to minimise electromagnetic interference and preserve clarity. Its construction uses durable outer sheathing and precision-moulded connectors to maintain a stable physical connection and reduce signal loss over the cable length.
The cable provides galvanic isolation between connected devices because it uses optical transmission, eliminating ground loop hum and reducing susceptibility to electromagnetic or radio-frequency interference. Its 2.0 m length offers flexibility for typical home AV setups while keeping signal path direct. Precision-moulded Toslink connectors ensure correct alignment and a secure fit with most TVs, soundbars, AV receivers and other devices that feature an optical audio port.
Insert one Toslink connector into the optical output of the source device (for example, a TV, Blu-ray player or game console) and insert the other connector into the optical input of the target device such as a soundbar or AV receiver. Ensure protective caps are removed before connection and that connectors are aligned with the square-shaped optical ports without forcing them. Select the optical audio output in the source device’s audio settings and choose the corresponding input on the receiving device. Confirm digital audio format compatibility in device settings if advanced formats are required.
Avoid sharply bending or kinking the cable near the connectors to maintain optical performance. Keep the cable away from heat sources and sharp edges. When disconnecting, grip the connector housing rather than pulling on the cable to prolong service life.
