Self-adhesive printer label Brady 121016 Black White
The Brady 121016 self-adhesive printer label is a polypropylene (PP) laboratory label designed for reliable specimen identification. Made from a durable polypropylene material, these labels adhere to vials, tubes and other specimen containers and are formulated to remain attached across a wide temperature range, from liquid nitrogen temperatures to autoclave conditions. The black-on-white design provides clear readability for printed text and barcodes.
Brady 121016 labels offer economical, durable identification for research, academic and clinical labs. Their polypropylene construction resists common laboratory solvents such as DMSO, short-term xylene, isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and ethanol, and the labels tolerate extreme cold and heat, maintaining adhesion and print legibility in demanding lab workflows.
Print text or barcodes using a compatible label printer configured for Brady 121016 media. Clean and dry the surface of the vial or container before application. Apply the label smoothly to avoid air bubbles and ensure full contact with the substrate. Allow printed ink or thermal transfer ribbons to dry according to the printer and ribbon manufacturer instructions before subjecting labels to extreme temperatures or solvents.
For best performance, select a thermal transfer ribbon and printer settings recommended for polypropylene labels. When labeling cryogenic samples, use upfront testing to confirm adhesion after freeze–thaw cycles and solvent exposure relevant to your workflow.
