Brady M6C-1000-422 is a white, glossy, self-adhesive continuous thermal transfer label roll with a 2.54 cm print width and 15.2 m continuous length. Made from permanent polyester, the material is halogen-free and designed for commercial and industrial marking tasks such as wire marking, asset identification, barcode labels and general-purpose labeling where durability and chemical resistance are required.

Advantages

The polyester construction offers weatherproof, heat-resistant and abrasion-resistant performance. The aggressive permanent adhesive bonds well to powder-coated, textured flat surfaces and many low surface energy plastics. The material is UL approved and CSA accepted, and it is formulated to withstand exposure to a range of solvents. Designed for thermal transfer printing, the roll provides consistent glossy white print results when used with the recommended ribbon and compatible Brady printers.

When it may not be suitable

The label material requires a thermal transfer ribbon for printing; it is not compatible with direct thermal printers. It is also no longer compatible with TLS Series printers, so it may not work with older Brady printer models. For very flexible or highly contoured surfaces the permanent polyester may not conform as well as flexible vinyl films.

Load the continuous label roll into a compatible Brady thermal transfer printer and install the recommended ribbon. For M610 / BMP61 / M611 series printers use the specified ribbon for best results; use the alternate specified ribbon for M710 / BMP71 series printers. Configure the printer for polyester label stock and glossy finish, set the correct label width (2.54 cm) and adjust print darkness and speed as needed. After printing, apply the labels to clean, dry surfaces and press firmly to ensure full adhesive contact.
