Trail Camera BRAUN Scouting Cam Black800 20MP Night Vision

BRAUN Scouting Cam Black800 20MP Night Vision is a trail camera designed for wildlife monitoring and property surveillance. It combines a 20-megapixel sensor with infrared night illumination to capture high-resolution still images and motion-triggered recordings in low-light conditions. The camera is intended for outdoor placement on trees, posts or fixed mounts and operates autonomously to document animal activity, scout remote locations and provide time-stamped photographic evidence when movement is detected.

Advantages

The camera delivers 20MP still images for clear detail and supports night vision functionality through infrared illumination for covert low-light monitoring. Motion-triggered capture conserves storage and battery life by recording only when activity is detected. The compact, weather-resistant housing is built for outdoor conditions and allows flexible mounting options. Time and date stamping helps organize recorded evidence and simplifies long-term monitoring projects.

Suitable for

• Wildlife observation and population monitoring
• Scouting hunting locations and animal trails
• Remote property monitoring and perimeter surveillance
• Documenting seasonal animal behaviour and migration
• Research projects requiring time-stamped photographic records

Key specifications

• Image sensor resolution: 20 megapixels
• Night vision: infrared illumination for low-light imaging
• Trigger mode: motion-activated capture
• Mounting: suitable for attachment to trees, posts or mounts for outdoor use
• Housing: weather-resistant design for outdoor conditions
• Output: still image capture and motion-triggered recordings with time/date stamp

How to use

Mount the BRAUN Scouting Cam Black800 on a stable surface such as a tree trunk or post at the height appropriate for the target species or area to be monitored. Insert a compatible memory card and install fresh batteries or a recommended external power source, then set date and time through the camera menu. Adjust sensitivity and trigger settings to balance detection range and false triggers. Position the camera facing trails, feeding sites or access points and ensure the infrared window is unobstructed. When configured, the unit will operate autonomously, recording images or short clips when motion is detected.

Usage recommendations

For reliable long-term deployment, use a high-quality memory card and optimum battery type recommended by the manufacturer. Check mounting stability and camera alignment regularly, and avoid placing the unit where direct sunlight or reflective surfaces face the lens. To reduce false triggers, fine-tune motion sensitivity and avoid installation near frequent vegetation movement or heat sources.
