The Braun BNT300WE remote sensing thermometer is a white, compact forehead thermometer designed for quick home use. It offers both no-touch and touch measurement modes, a colour-coded back-lit display for easy interpretation, a silent mode for disturbance-free readings and a positioning guidance system to help obtain consistent results. It runs on AA batteries and is intended for domestic use only, not for clinical professional environments.
The thermometer provides fast measurements in just a couple of seconds and supports non-invasive no-touch readings from up to 2.5 cm, which is useful for measuring a child without waking them. The touch mode enables direct and convenient self-measurement. A large, back-lit screen changes colour from green to yellow to red to indicate normal, fever and high fever ranges, and the positioning guidance helps ensure clinically accurate placement and consistent results. Silent mode disables sounds for discreet use.
Point the thermometer at the centre of the forehead between the eyebrows. For no-touch mode, keep the device at the recommended distance (up to 2.5 cm) and trigger a measurement; for touch mode, place the sensor on the forehead and take a reading. Read the result on the back-lit display. Use positioning guidance to align the device for consistent results. Switch to silent mode if a quiet measurement is required.
