The Braun No touch + touch thermometer with Age Precision® (model BNT400) is a forehead remote-sensing thermometer designed for family use. It supports both no-touch and touch measurement modes, features age-adjustable fever guidance (Age Precision®) to help interpret temperature results, and includes dedicated modes for measuring food and liquids. The device is lightweight (approx. 100 g), battery-powered (AAA, 1.5 V) and switches off automatically after 30 seconds to save power.

How to use

For no-touch measurement, hold the thermometer at the recommended distance from the centre of the forehead and follow the device prompts until the 2-second reading completes. For touch mode, place the sensor on the forehead as instructed and press the measurement button to obtain a quick reading. Use Food & Liquids mode to measure milk, baby food or bath water by positioning the sensor close to the surface and activating that specific mode. Refer to the included user manual for distance guidance, mode selection and battery installation.

Usage recommendations

When measuring body temperature, ensure the forehead is clean and dry and avoid measurements immediately after physical activity or exposure to extreme ambient temperatures.
