Surveillance Camera Braun Photo Technik Black700 IP65
The Braun Photo Technik Black700 is a compact surveillance and hunting camera with a slim, camouflage housing designed for outdoor use. Equipped with a 5 megapixel CMOS sensor and a PIR motion detector, the Black700 records colour images by day and switches to infrared night capture using 48 black IR LEDs. The weather-resistant casing and battery operation enable unattended deployment in the field for up to six months. A 2.0" TFT display under a protective flap allows local review and configuration; the display can be locked with a password for added security. The camera stores images and video on a microSD card (up to 32 GB) and can be mounted with the included strap or placed on a tripod.
The Black700 combines a high-quality 5 MP CMOS sensor with a 120° PIR motion detector and 48 black infrared LEDs to deliver reliable day and night monitoring. Its IP65-rated weatherproof housing and battery-powered operation permit long-term outdoor placement without mains power. The protected 2.0" TFT display and password lock increase operational security, while remote control operation simplifies use. Compact dimensions and lightweight design make installation on trees or tripods straightforward.
Install AA batteries and insert a compatible microSD card (up to 32 GB). Mount the camera to a tree or other fixed object using the supplied strap, or place it on a tripod at the desired location. Configure basic settings and review images via the 2.0" TFT display beneath the protective flap, or use the remote control. For the BLACK700phone model, MMS/SMTP settings can be adjusted using the supplied software on a PC and saved to the microSD card. After setup, the PIR sensor will trigger image and video recording when motion is detected; daytime captures are in colour and low-light captures use the IR LEDs in black and white.
Place the camera at chest height and angle it slightly downward to optimise the PIR detection zone (120°) and increase the chance of clear images. Avoid direct exposure to strong light sources and position the unit 2–3 m away from commonly used game trails or activity points. Regularly check battery levels and microSD capacity during prolonged deployments to ensure continuous operation; ensure compliance with local data protection and privacy regulations when using the camera for surveillance.
