How to use

Mount the detector on the ceiling or high on a wall using the supplied mounting materials, following the manufacturer’s placement guidance (avoid corners and areas near ventilation openings). Insert the included 9 V battery, perform a functional check using the test button and verify the optical function display. Test the unit periodically and replace the battery when the low-battery acoustic signal activates or at least every year.

Usage recommendations

The detector should be installed in every sleeping area and on each level of a dwelling. Avoid installing directly above stoves or in very dusty or humid locations to reduce false alarms. Regularly test the device and replace the battery as indicated to ensure continuous protection.
