Sealed Lead-Acid Battery BrightSign 6V 5Ah AGM T1(F1) terminal
Sealed Lead-Acid Battery BrightSign 6V 5Ah AGM T1(F1) terminal
BrightSign Sealed Lead-Acid Battery 6V 5Ah is a maintenance-free, valve-regulated battery with AGM (absorbed glass mat) technology and T1 (F1) terminal. Engineered for both standby and cyclic applications, the battery delivers stable nominal voltage and dependable reserve capacity for small UPS modules, alarm systems, emergency lighting, measurement instruments and portable devices. The compact, horizontal-mountable design is intended for indoor installation and provides secure electrical connections via the T1 terminal format.
The AGM construction ensures low internal resistance, spill-proof operation and minimal self-discharge, making the battery suitable for long-term standby use. Valve-regulated design eliminates the need for regular maintenance and reduces the risk of electrolyte leakage. The T1 (F1) terminal offers simple, reliable connection options compatible with common connectors used in security and backup systems. The battery’s 6V 5Ah capacity balances compact size with sufficient energy storage for small to medium standby loads and periodic cyclic use.
Install the battery indoors on a stable, non-conductive surface in the horizontal position, and secure it to prevent movement. Connect using the T1 (F1) terminal and ensure correct polarity before applying load or charging. Use a compatible charger designed for sealed lead-acid batteries and follow recommended charging voltages and current limits for 6 V AGM cells. Observe ventilation and temperature recommendations of the host device; avoid exposure to frost or prolonged high temperatures. For standby systems, keep the battery periodically charged to compensate for self-discharge and verify terminal cleanliness and tightness during routine inspections.
To maximize service life, store and operate the battery at moderate temperatures and maintain a float or cyclical charging regime appropriate for AGM lead-acid cells. Replace batteries that show significant capacity loss or physical damage. Do not open or puncture the sealed casing; dispose of the battery according to local regulations for lead-acid batteries.
