Wire connector METZ CONNECT 130B22-E Silver

The METZ CONNECT 130B22-E Silver wire connector is a modular Cat.6A RJ45 termination unit in a keystone mounting format with 270° cable feed. The reusable, one-piece housing is refined with zinc die-casting and provides compact dimensions (14.7 mm width, 36 mm depth, 29 mm height). It accepts solid and stranded conductors and is supplied in packs of 10. The connector is certified for Cat.6A performance and suitable for 10 GBit Ethernet, PoE variants and HDBaseT.

Advantages

The connector enables tool-free mounting with a strain relief that snaps directly onto the stuffer cap and supports easy insulation displacement (IDC) termination for AWG 26/1 to 22/1 (solid) and AWG 26/7 to 22/7 (stranded). Intelligent cable management in the stuffer cap accommodates heavily twisted cables and conductor assignment for T568A and T568B is printed directly on the cap. How to use

Prepare the Cat6/6A cable and strip the outer sheath according to installation guidelines. Insert the conductors into the stuffer cap following the T568A or T568B assignment printed on the cap, then press the IDC contacts to terminate the wires. Snap the strain relief onto the stuffer cap and mount the keystone connector into the patch panel or outlet. No special tools are required for mounting, though standard cable preparation tools are recommended.
