The BTR NETCOM 1401400810-I stainless steel wire connector is a field-assembled Cat.6 class EA RJ45 plug designed for use in IP67-rated plug housings (variants 1, 4, 5 and 14). It meets Class EA requirements to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2.2:2011-06 and DIN EN 50173-1:2011-09, supports 10 GBit Ethernet per IEEE 802.3an and is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+ and UPoE). The connector accepts 8-wire AWG 22 to AWG 26 conductors, supports solid and stranded copper wires within the specified diameter ranges, and is made of durable materials suitable for industrial environments.

A zinc die-cast housing provides mechanical robustness for industrial use and a protected locking hook ensures secure mating. How to use

Strip the cable to expose the eight conductors and prepare the cable jacket to the specified diameter range. Terminate the wires according to the wiring variant required (T568A, T568B or Industry) and insert the conductor assembly into the two-part RJ45 plug. Assemble the parts until the locking hook engages and mount the assembled plug into a compatible IP67 plug housing variant. No special crimping tools are required for connection.

Usage recommendations

For reliable performance, use stranded or solid copper cables within the specified diameter ranges and secure the plug in an IP67-rated housing variant appropriate for the installation. Verify wiring scheme (T568A, T568B or Industry) before final assembly and test connectivity after installation.
