How to use

Attach the 49 mm filter to the front thread of a compatible lens and secure it by gently screwing until it sits flush without overtightening. Because the filter reduces light by approximately ten f-stops, use a sturdy tripod and a remote release or camera timer to avoid camera shake during long exposures. Meter exposure either by using a neutral-density-aware metering method or perform test exposures and adjust shutter speed and ISO to achieve the desired effect. For portrait work, set the desired wide aperture and adjust exposure time accordingly when shooting in bright conditions.

Usage recommendations

Clean the filter with a microfiber cloth and appropriate optical cleaner for stubborn marks. Store the filter in its protective case when not in use.
