Circular polarising camera filter B&W MASTER HTC-Pol 58 mm with Multi Resistant Coating
B&W MASTER HTC-Pol 58 mm is a circular polarising camera filter designed to reduce reflections and enhance color saturation for landscape, outdoor and product photography. The filter uses Multi Resistant Coating (MRC) to minimize unwanted surface reflections and improve light transmission while remaining as color-neutral as possible. Supplied as a single unit with a 58 mm front thread, it is intended for use on lenses that accept 58 mm filters and is suitable across a wide range of focal lengths from wide-angle to telephoto.
The B&W MASTER HTC-Pol reduces glare from non-metallic surfaces such as water and glass and increases color saturation and contrast to render richer skies and more distinct foliage tones. Its Multi Resistant Coating lowers internal reflections and helps maintain light transmission for clearer images. The filter is color-neutral to preserve natural color balance and is built with a robust brass mount that resists wear. A grease-free polarizing surface enables smooth rotation for precise adjustment of the polarization angle.
Screw the filter onto the lens front thread (58 mm) until secure. Rotate the outer ring while viewing the scene through the viewfinder or live view to adjust the polarization effect; maximum effect is typically achieved when shooting at roughly 90° to the sun. For even polarization across the frame, avoid very wide focal lengths under approximately 28 mm (35 mm full-frame equivalent). When aiming to remove reflections from a specific surface, rotate the filter until reflections are reduced or eliminated and fine-tune for the preferred level of color saturation and contrast.
Use the polarizer when shooting skies, foliage, water or glass to manage reflections and deepen colors. Remove the filter when it is not needed or when increased exposure is required, as the polarizer reduces the amount of light reaching the sensor. Clean the filter with a soft, lint-free cloth and appropriate lens cleaner to maintain the Multi Resistant Coating and ensure smooth rotation.
