How to use

Screw the filter onto the front thread of a compatible lens (86 mm). Compose the scene and rotate the polarising element while observing the viewfinder or live view until the desired reduction of reflections and increase in colour saturation is achieved. For maximum effect in landscape shooting, position the camera roughly 90° to the sun and rotate the filter to fine-tune the result. Use the filter together with a lens hood to reduce stray light and always check exposure and metering after attaching the filter as it can slightly affect light transmission.

Usage recommendations

For best results in wide-angle scenes, avoid expecting uniform polarization across the entire sky; polarising effects are strongest at about 90° to the sun and may be uneven with very wide focal lengths. Clean the MRC-coated glass with a soft microfiber cloth and suitable lens cleaner; avoid abrasive materials. Store the filter in a protective case when not in use to preserve coating and mechanical parts.
