Hard case B&W Cases Type 4000 Black
The B&W Cases Type 4000 Hard Case in Black is a durable, watertight transport case designed to protect sensitive equipment. The case shell is made of polypropylene and includes a removable pre-cut foam (SI sponge insert) for precision customization of the interior, plus egg crate foam in the lid for full shock-resistant protection. The case offers a pressure compensation valve, transparent name plate, two latches, a padded handle and optional accessories such as a black name plate, removable lid, carrying strap, lid pocket and panel frame. It is rated for temperatures from -40° to +80° C and comes with a 30-year guarantee.
The polypropylene shell provides a sturdy, stackable and dustproof housing, while the removable pre-cut foam insert allows tailored protection for varied equipment sizes. The egg crate foam in the lid and shock-resistant interior reduce impact risk, and the automatic air pressure compensation valve equalizes internal pressure during altitude or temperature changes. The case is watertight and suitable for harsh conditions, and the included padded handle and optional carrying strap improve transport comfort.
Customize the interior by removing the pre-cut foam sections of the SI sponge insert to fit your equipment precisely, place items in the cutouts and close the lid so the egg crate foam secures them. Use the latches to lock the case and ensure the pressure compensation valve is unobstructed before transport. Carry the case by the padded handle or attach the optional carrying strap; for panel-mounted equipment, use the compatible panel frame accessory.
For maximum protection, arrange equipment with minimal movement space inside the foam cutouts, keep liquids and corrosive materials sealed, and regularly inspect latches and the pressure valve. Use optional accessories (carrying strap, lid pocket, panel frame) as needed for your workflow.
