Hard case B&W Cases Type 6700 Black
The B&W Cases Type 6700 Black is a durable hard case designed to protect equipment during transport and storage. The shell is made of polypropylene and the case features an automatic air pressure compensation valve, four latches, three handles plus a telescopic handle, and two wheels. The removable, configurable RPD (reconfigurable padded divider) insert is made of washable heavy-duty nylon with velcro attachments and includes egg-crate foam in the lid for shock-resistant protection. The case is dustproof, watertight, stackable and rated for temperatures from -40° to +80° C. A transparent name plate is standard; a black name plate and a removable lid are available as options. The case is covered by a 30-year guarantee.
The case offers robust mechanical protection thanks to its polypropylene shell and padded RPD insert with egg-crate foam, while the air pressure compensation valve prevents pressure-related damage during air transport. Mobility and handling are supported by multiple handles, a telescopic handle and wheels. Its watertight and dustproof construction with wide operating temperature range makes it suitable for demanding environments, and stackability simplifies storage and transport. Long-term reliability is supported by a 30-year guarantee.
Open the case and install or adjust the RPD padded divider using the velcro attachments to create compartments tailored to your equipment. Place items into the compartments ensuring they are snug against the padded sides and use the egg-crate foam in the lid for additional shock protection. Close the lid, secure the four latches and, if transporting by air, allow the automatic pressure valve to equalize pressure. Use the telescopic handle and wheels for rolling transport or the side handles for lifting.
For long-term protection, keep electronic devices dry and clean before packing, avoid overloading the case beyond its intended capacity, and store the case closed in a dry place when not in use. Regularly inspect latches, seals and the RPD insert for wear and replace components as needed to maintain watertight and shock-resistant performance.
