Filament c-tech PETG 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool, green, Essential Line, refill
c-tech Essential Line PETG filament, green, 1.75 mm diameter on a 1 kg refill spool is a thermoplastic filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. PETG combines tensile strength and moderate flexibility with reliable layer adhesion and chemical resistance, making it suitable for functional parts, prototypes and durable prints. The refill spool format provides a compact supply for continuous printing without a full retail packaging coil.
PETG in the c-tech Essential Line offers a balance between strength and toughness while maintaining good printability on most 1.75 mm FDM/FFF machines. The material exhibits improved impact resistance compared with standard PLA and shows better temperature performance for applications exposed to moderate heat. Chemical resistance and layer bonding reduce the risk of part delamination in functional uses. The 1 kg refill spool provides a standard quantity for single-project use or ongoing prototyping cycles.
Load the filament onto your 1.75 mm-capable extruder following your printer manufacturer's instructions. Set an initial print temperature appropriate for PETG (typically in a range supported by your printer and filament guidance), adjust bed temperature and first-layer settings to ensure adhesion, and calibrate extrusion flow if required. Print slower than PLA for improved layer bonding where needed and allow parts to cool gradually to minimise warping. Store the refill spool in a dry environment or sealed bag with desiccant when not in use.
For best results, verify recommended printing temperatures from sample prints and adjust retraction settings to reduce stringing. Use a heated bed with adhesion aid (PEI sheet, glue stick or suitable tape) and avoid excessive cooling during the first layers. Maintain dry storage to preserve filament properties.
