c-tech PETG 3D printer filament 1.75 mm 1 kg spool, ESSENTIAL LINE
c-tech PETG 3D printer filament 1.75 mm 1 kg spool from the ESSENTIAL LINE is a durable thermoplastic filament formulated for FDM/FFF desktop 3D printers. The filament balances mechanical strength, chemical resistance and consistent layer adhesion, while offering reduced warping compared to standard PLA. It is supplied on a 1 kg spool with a 1.75 mm diameter suitable for most consumer and prosumer extruders and hotends, and is intended for producing functional prototypes, mechanical parts and long-lasting prints.
This PETG filament provides a combination of tensile strength and impact resistance, together with good thermal and chemical stability for everyday applications. It is engineered for consistent extrusion to reduce nozzle clogs and stringing, and exhibits reliable layer bonding that improves part durability. Low shrinkage and controlled flow characteristics help minimize warping and ensure dimensional stability on standard heated beds.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into the printer following the machine manufacturer’s filament loading procedure. Use an extruder and hotend compatible with PETG; typical nozzle temperatures range from 230°C to 250°C depending on printer and print speed, and a heated bed temperature between 60°C and 80°C helps reduce warping. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction settings to limit stringing, and ensure proper first layer adhesion by adjusting nozzle height and bed leveling. Store the spool in a dry place or use desiccant to preserve filament quality between prints.
For best results, start with moderate print speeds and fine-tune temperature and retraction based on observed stringing or layer adhesion. Use a heated bed and consider an adhesive aid (glue stick, PEI sheet or blue tape) for reliable first layers. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and humidity when storing the filament.
