PLA 3D printer filament c-tech ESSENTIAL LINE 1.75 mm Black 1 kg
c-tech ESSENTIAL LINE PLA 1.75 mm filament in black, supplied on a 1 kg spool, is intended for FDM/FFF 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. PLA (polylactic acid) is a biodegradable thermoplastic known for easy handling, low tendency to warp and minimal odor during printing. This filament provides consistent feeding and smooth extrusion for a wide range of common desktop printing tasks, from prototypes to decorative objects.
The material combines dimensional stability with predictable layer adhesion and a moderate printing temperature range, which helps reduce bed adhesion issues and stringing when recommended settings are applied. The 1.75 mm diameter tolerance supports reliable extrusion on most consumer and prosumer printers. The black color delivers uniform surface appearance suitable for parts where a neutral, non-reflective finish is needed.
Load the filament into the printer according to the manufacturer's loading procedure and ensure the filament path is clear of tangles. Set the nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer and slicer recommendations for PLA — common starting points are a nozzle temperature in the range of 190–220 °C and a heated bed at 20–60 °C or no bed heating if your printer supports it. Calibrate extrusion multiplier and first layer height to achieve consistent filament flow and good first-layer adhesion. Store the spool in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant when not in use to maintain printing quality.
For best results, print with moderate cooling and avoid excessive nozzle temperatures to reduce stringing and improve surface finish. Use a suitable adhesion method for the first layer such as a textured build surface, glue stick or blue painter's tape depending on bed material. Periodically inspect the filament for dust or moisture and trim the leading end before loading to prevent jams.
