3D printer filament c-tech ESSENTIAL LINE PLA 1.75 mm 1 kg gray refill
c-tech ESSENTIAL LINE PLA 1.75 mm 1 kg gray refill is a standard PLA filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. Manufactured to deliver consistent extrusion at common PLA temperature ranges, this gray spool supports reliable layer adhesion, dimensional stability and easy handling. The neutral gray color is suitable for prototypes, scale models and functional household parts where a discreet, uniform finish is preferred.
This PLA filament offers consistent diameter tolerance and smooth feeding for reduced print failures. It prints at standard PLA temperatures, enabling compatibility with a wide range of consumer and prosumer printers. The material provides good interlayer bonding and minimal warping compared with many engineering plastics, which simplifies printing of medium-sized parts. The gray color gives good surface visibility for post-processing such as sanding, painting or assembly checks.
Load the 1.75 mm gray filament onto your FDM/FFF printer according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Set the hotend temperature within the typical PLA range used for your machine and nozzle size, and use a print bed preparation method suited to PLA (e.g., blue tape, glue stick or PEI) to improve adhesion. Print at moderate speeds and adjust retraction to minimize stringing. After printing, allow parts to cool before removal to preserve dimensional accuracy.
Store the filament in a dry, cool place and reseal the spool after use to prevent moisture uptake. For best surface finish, calibrate extrusion multiplier and print temperature for your specific printer and nozzle. When post-processing, use standard PLA-compatible methods such as light sanding and painting. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or direct sunlight to maintain material properties.
