3D printer filament c-tech ESSENTIAL LINE PLA 1.75 mm 1 kg red refill
c-tech ESSENTIAL LINE PLA 1.75 mm 1 kg red refill is a general-purpose PLA filament designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. The spool contains 1 kg of red PLA with a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and is formulated to deliver consistent extrusion, predictable layer adhesion and reduced warping during typical PLA print temperatures. This filament is intended for prototyping, hobby projects and everyday printing tasks where dimensional stability and surface finish are important.
The filament offers a consistent diameter tolerance for reliable feeding and steady extrusion flow. Its PLA composition enables printing at common PLA temperatures with good layer bonding and minimal shrinkage, which helps maintain first-layer adhesion and reduces print failures. The material produces a clean, bright red finish suitable for visible parts and models while being compatible with a wide range of standard FDM/FFF printer hotends and build surfaces.
Load the spool on the printer spool holder and feed the filament into the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Set the hotend temperature within the typical PLA range (start near 200 °C and adjust in 5 °C increments if needed). Use a nozzle compatible with 1.75 mm filament, and level the build plate to ensure consistent first-layer deposition. If necessary, apply an adhesion aid such as a glue stick, blue painter’s tape or a suitable proprietary surface to improve first-layer adhesion. After printing, allow parts to cool on the build plate to reduce the risk of warping before removal.
Store the filament in a dry environment away from direct sunlight. Use a sealed bag with desiccant for long-term storage to maintain printability and reduce moisture absorption. Adjust print cooling and retraction settings as appropriate for fine detail and to minimize stringing when printing small features.
