PLA 3D printer filament c-tech Essential Line 1.75 mm 1 kg Yellow
c-tech Essential Line PLA filament, 1.75 mm diameter on a 1 kg spool in yellow, is designed for FDM desktop 3D printers. The biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA) material provides predictable extrusion behavior, low tendency to warp and good interlayer adhesion. This filament is intended for general-purpose 3D printing of prototypes, decorative items and household parts and is compatible with printers that accept 1.75 mm filament.
The filament offers consistent diameter and smooth surface finish, which helps maintain steady extrusion and layer appearance. PLA’s lower printing temperature compared with engineering plastics reduces thermal distortion and simplifies bed adhesion. The yellow color delivers good opacity and color consistency across prints. The 1 kg spool format balances material quantity and storage convenience for hobbyist and workshop use.
Load the 1.75 mm filament into the printer’s filament feeder according to the printer manufacturer’s instructions. Set nozzle temperature to a typical PLA range (commonly 190–220°C) and use heated bed temperatures if recommended by your printer (often 0–60°C depending on adhesion method). Enable part cooling fans during printing for improved bridging and detail. Store the spool in a dry place or sealed container with desiccant when not in use to maintain filament quality.
For reliable results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and first-layer height before printing important parts. Use adhesive aids such as glue stick, blue painter’s tape or a PEI sheet to improve bed adhesion when required. Avoid prolonged exposure to high humidity; dry the filament at low temperature if prints show bubbling or inconsistent extrusion.
