3D printer filament c-tech PREMIUM LINE ABS Black 1.75 mm 1 kg
c-tech PREMIUM LINE ABS Black 1.75 mm 1 kg is a thermoplastic filament formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printing. Produced for use in desktop and professional printers that accept 1.75 mm filament, this ABS material delivers a balance of mechanical strength and elevated heat resistance suitable for functional parts, prototypes and durable models. The filament is supplied on a 1 kg spool and is designed to be used with common ABS printing practices, including a heated build platform and, where possible, an enclosed printing chamber to minimize warping and layer adhesion issues.
This ABS filament provides good impact resistance and dimensional stability at elevated temperatures compared with many general-purpose thermoplastics. The consistent 1.75 mm diameter and uniform winding on the 1 kg spool support steady filament feeding and reduce feeding interruptions. The black color yields strong visual contrast, hides internal structures and is suitable for end-use parts where a neutral, professional appearance is required.
Load the filament onto a compatible 1.75 mm filament extruder and set printer parameters appropriate for ABS. Recommended starting settings include a nozzle temperature in the ABS range and a heated bed to improve adhesion. Use a flat, clean build surface and consider adhesion aids such as glue stick, ABS slurry or specialized build plates. Allow parts to cool gradually or use an enclosed chamber to reduce warping and improve layer bonding. Monitor the first layer for proper extrusion and bed adhesion before starting the full print.
For best results, print ABS with a heated bed (typically 90–110°C) and nozzle temperatures appropriate for your printer and this ABS grade. An enclosed or draft-free environment reduces warping. When finishing, ABS can be sanded and smoothed using controlled acetone vapor or solvent techniques; follow safety guidelines and use appropriate ventilation and protective equipment.
