3D printer filament c-tech PETG 1.75 mm 1 kg — Yellow-Orange
c-tech PREMIUM LINE PETG filament in Yellow-Orange is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool developed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. PETG combines the printability of PLA with improved toughness and chemical resistance, offering good layer adhesion and reduced warping compared with ABS. This filament is intended for functional parts, prototypes and visual models where a balance of durability and ease of printing is required.
The Yellow-Orange PETG filament provides a stable extrusion with consistent diameter and good bed adhesion, which helps reduce print failures. Its chemical resistance and impact strength make it suitable for parts exposed to moderate mechanical stress or contact with common household chemicals. Compared with ABS, PETG shows less tendency to warp and does not require as aggressive an enclosure, while maintaining better toughness than standard PLA.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into a compatible FDM/FFF 3D printer following the printer manufacturer’s filament loading procedure. Recommended print settings typically include a nozzle temperature in the mid-to-high PETG range and a heated bed to improve first-layer adhesion. Use moderate print speeds and consider enabling retraction and coasting adjustments to control stringing. Ensure the spool can rotate freely and that the filament is guided smoothly into the extruder.
For best results, print on a clean glass or PEI surface with a heated bed set to a temperature that matches your printer and environmental conditions. Start with a nozzle temperature range appropriate for PETG on your machine and perform a small calibration print to fine-tune extrusion multiplier, retraction and cooling. Store unused filament in a dry, resealable container with desiccant to minimize moisture absorption which can affect print quality.
