3D printer filament c-tech PREMIUM LINE PETG Grey Blue RAL7031 1.75mm 1kg
c-tech PREMIUM LINE PETG filament in Grey Blue (RAL7031) is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool designed for desktop FDM/FFF 3D printers. This PETG formulation combines mechanical strength, chemical resistance and moderate flexibility to produce durable functional parts and visually consistent prototypes. The filament is spool-wound with consistent diameter to reduce feeding issues and is suitable for a wide range of standard PETG print settings; slight tuning of nozzle temperature and cooling often improves layer adhesion and surface finish.
The filament offers high impact resistance and good layer bonding compared with PLA, while maintaining easier printability than some engineering polymers. Its Grey Blue RAL7031 colour delivers a neutral, professional appearance for prototypes and end-use components. PETG resists many household chemicals and moisture exposure better than PLA, and the 1.75 mm diameter ensures compatibility with most consumer 3D printers. The 1 kg spool size balances print time and material handling for small- to medium-scale projects.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into your printer following the manufacturer’s filament loading procedure. Begin with standard PETG print settings for nozzle temperature and bed temperature, then fine-tune: increase nozzle temperature if layer adhesion is poor, reduce cooling to improve bonding, and use a heated bed with suitable adhesion aid for first-layer stability. Monitor extrusion flow and retraction settings to reduce stringing and oozing; slight increases in retraction distance or speed may be required depending on your hotend and filament path.
Store the filament in a dry place or sealed container with desiccant to minimise moisture absorption. For best surface finish, print slower than PLA and use moderate cooling after initial layers. When printing functional parts, consider annealing tests and verify dimensional tolerances under expected load and temperature conditions.
