3D printing filament c-tech PETG Mahogany Brown 1.75 mm 1 kg
c-tech PREMIUM LINE PETG filament in Mahogany Brown is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool formulated for FDM/FFF 3D printers. This PETG material balances mechanical strength and printability, providing good layer adhesion, reduced warping and increased chemical resistance compared with standard PLA. The mahogany brown shade yields a warm, wood-like appearance suitable for visible functional parts and prototypes that require a durable finish.
The filament offers reliable extrusion and consistent diameter for steady flow through the hotend, minimizing printing defects. PETG’s toughness and impact resistance make printed parts less brittle than PLA, while its low shrinkage reduces the risk of warping on medium-sized prints. Chemical and moisture resistance improve the longevity of parts used in household or workshop environments. The mahogany brown color gives a natural aesthetic without post-processing for many applications.
Load the filament into a compatible 1.75 mm FDM/FFF 3D printer following the printer manufacturer’s filament loading instructions. Typical printing temperature ranges for PETG are higher than PLA; start with a nozzle temperature between 230–250 °C and a heated bed temperature between 70–80 °C, then adjust based on adhesion and surface finish. Use moderate print speeds and enable part cooling sparingly to improve layer bonding. Ensure the filament spool can unwind smoothly to avoid tangles during printing.
Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to prevent moisture uptake, which can affect print quality. For better interlayer adhesion and dimensional accuracy, calibrate extrusion multiplier and bed leveling before printing critical parts.
