c-tech PREMIUM LINE PETG filament in White Aluminum (RAL9006) is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool designed for FDM/FFF 3D printers. PETG combines good mechanical strength and chemical resistance with relatively simple printing behavior, making it suitable for functional parts, prototypes and decorative objects. The white aluminum tone provides a metallic-looking finish while maintaining PETG's layer adhesion and dimensional stability when printed with appropriate settings.
This PETG filament offers a balance between strength and ease of use compared with more demanding materials such as ABS. It provides improved chemical resistance and impact performance over PLA, good layer bonding and reduced warping. The 1.75 mm diameter ensures consistent feeding for compatible hotends, and the 1 kg spool supplies enough material for medium-sized prints and iterative prototyping.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into a compatible FDM/FFF printer and set the nozzle and bed temperatures according to your printer manufacturer's PETG recommendations. Use a heated bed to improve adhesion and reduce warping; a brim or raft can be applied for larger parts. Print at moderate speeds to ensure consistent extrusion and layer bonding. Allow printed parts to cool gradually to retain dimensional stability and, if needed, perform light post-processing such as sanding or polishing to refine the metallic surface.
For best results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and retraction to minimise stringing and ensure smooth flow. Typical nozzle temperatures for PETG range between 230–250 °C and bed temperatures between 60–80 °C, but always refer to your printer and hotend limits. Store the spool in a dry environment or desiccant-sealed bag to prevent moisture uptake that can affect print quality.
