Adapter cables to go C2G29515 USB-C male to USB-A female, USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps), black
cables to go C2G29515 is a compact USB-C male to USB-A female adapter designed for USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) data transfer. Housed in black with gold-plated contacts, this adapter enables connection of legacy USB-A devices — such as flash drives, keyboards, mice and other peripherals — to modern hosts with USB-C ports. The small, lightweight design reduces strain on the host port and supports plug-and-play operation without additional drivers.
The adapter supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps while remaining backward compatible with USB 3.0, 2.0 and 1.1 devices. Gold-plated contacts provide reliable conductivity and corrosion resistance. The USB-C connector’s reversible, symmetrical design simplifies insertion, and the dongle-style form factor reduces direct flex and weight on the host port. At approximately 0.01 kg and a compact footprint, the adapter is convenient for mobile use.
Insert the USB-C male connector into the USB-C port of your host device, then connect a USB-A device into the USB-A female receptacle. The reversible USB-C plug allows easy insertion on the first attempt in most cases. Once connected, the host should recognise the peripheral or storage device automatically and enable data transfer or input functionality. Remove by gently pulling the adapter from the host port when finished.
To prolong the life of both the adapter and the host USB-C port, avoid applying sideways force or using the adapter as a fixed extension under heavy loads. Use the adapter for standard data and peripheral connections; for high-power charging or unusual power delivery requirements consult device specifications. Store the adapter in a protective pouch when not in use to prevent contact contamination.
