Speaker cable Cabletech CCA 0.75 mm² black-red, 10 m
Two-conductor speaker cable Cabletech CCA 0.75 mm² in black-red insulation, 10 m length, designed for low-to-medium power audio connections. Each conductor has a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm² and is made from copper-clad aluminum (CCA), providing a balance between conductivity and cost. The contrasting black and red jackets simplify polarity identification when connecting amplifiers, receivers and passive speakers in residential or commercial audio setups.
The Cabletech CCA 0.75 mm² speaker cable offers reliable signal transmission for standard audio installations while keeping material and installation costs low. Its CCA conductors deliver acceptable electrical performance for short to moderate cable runs, and the 10 m length covers most room-to-speaker distances without requiring joins. Color-coded insulation reduces the risk of reversed polarity during installation, and the flexible single-pair construction allows for easier routing through walls, conduits and behind furniture.
Strip approximately 6–8 mm of insulation from each conductor to expose the core, taking care not to nick the metal. Connect the red-insulated conductor to the positive (+) terminal and the black-insulated conductor to the negative (−) terminal on both the amplifier/receiver and the speaker to maintain correct polarity. For bare-wire connections twist the exposed strands to prevent fraying; for banana plugs or spade lugs, follow the connector manufacturer’s instructions for secure attachment. Route the cable away from power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference to minimise noise.
For best results use this cable for runs under 10–15 meters in typical home and small commercial audio systems. Avoid using CCA cable for high-power, long-distance installations where pure copper conductors are recommended to reduce voltage drop and maintain signal fidelity.
