Network patch cable CABLETIME Cat7 S/STP 1 m, black
The Cat7 cable is designed for structured computer networks, IP telephony, and transmission of data and video signals. This shielded S/STP CAT7 cable with RJ45 connectors supports high-speed Ethernet up to 10 Gb/s and a channel bandwidth of 600 MHz. It uses 26 AWG oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors and gold-plated contacts to ensure reliable signal quality and durability, and is compatible with Cat6 and Cat5E network configurations.
The S/STP shielding construction, consisting of four foil-shielded twisted pairs plus an overall braided metal shield, provides strong protection against electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, reducing signal leakage and improving stability in electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts and OFC conductors enhance corrosion resistance and maintain consistent connectivity. Color coding follows the ANSI/TIA/EIA-568B standard for straightforward installation and compatibility with a wide range of devices.
Connect the RJ45 male connectors to the corresponding RJ45 ports on network devices such as computers, switches, routers, smart TVs or gaming consoles. Ensure both ends are fully inserted until the connector latch clicks. Observe the 568B wiring color code when creating or testing terminations. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling to preserve the shielding and conductor integrity. For best performance, route the cable away from strong electromagnetic sources and noisy power lines.
Use this Cat7 S/STP cable for installations requiring high-speed, shielded connections—such as server rooms, IP telephony, or multimedia streaming—especially in environments with potential electromagnetic interference. For longer runs or different installation needs, select appropriate cable lengths and verify device compatibility with 10 Gb/s links.
