CamLink CL-72CPL Circular Polarising Camera Lens Filter 72 mm

Enhance your photography with the CamLink CL-72CPL circular polarising camera lens filter. Designed with a 72 mm filter size, this optical accessory effectively reduces reflections and glare from non-metallic surfaces while boosting color saturation and contrast in outdoor scenes. Ideal for landscape and nature photography, it attaches easily to compatible lenses to deliver professional image quality and clarity.

Advantages

The CamLink CL-72CPL circular polarising camera lens filter effectively minimizes unwanted reflections and glare from water, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces, allowing you to capture scenes with higher clarity. By deepening blue skies and enriching natural tones, it significantly boosts color saturation and contrast in your images. Furthermore, the filter is fully compatible with TTL and autofocus camera systems as well as video camcorders, ensuring seamless operation without interfering with your camera's metering or focus capabilities.

Suitable for

• Landscape photography to enhance foliage and sky contrast
• Water photography to remove surface reflections and reveal underwater details
• Architectural and urban photography to reduce glass glare on windows
• Outdoor video recording using DSLR cameras and camcorders

When it may not be suitable

This filter may not be suitable for low-light photography or indoor environments where light levels are already restricted, as polarising filters naturally reduce the amount of light entering the lens. It is also not compatible with camera lenses that do not have a 72 mm filter thread size unless appropriate step-down or step-up adapter rings are used.

Key specifications

• Circular polarising camera filter type
• 72 mm filter size
• Designed for lenses with 72 mm filter threads
• Suitable for TTL and AF cameras and video camcorders

How to use

To use the CamLink CL-72CPL circular polarising camera lens filter, gently screw it directly onto the front filter thread of a compatible 72 mm camera lens until securely fastened. Once attached, look through the viewfinder or LCD screen while rotating the outer ring of the filter to adjust the polarisation effect. Observe how reflections diminish and colors saturate, then capture your shot once the desired visual balance is achieved.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify your camera lens diameter to ensure it matches the 72 mm size of this filter
• Consider your primary photography subjects, as this filter is most beneficial for outdoor and daylight shooting
• Check whether you require step-down or step-up rings if using lenses with different thread diameters

For optimal results, attach the CamLink CL-72CPL circular polarising camera lens filter during bright daylight conditions and rotate the filter ring carefully while framing your shot to achieve the exact level of reflection reduction and color enhancement desired.
